Abstract
Section 41-9-1029 of the Code of Alabama 1975 (Title 41, Chapter 9, Article 43, the Alabama Unarmed Combat Act, formerly the Alabama Boxing, Wrestling, and Mixed Martial Arts Act), Promoter license; match permit; amateur mixed martial arts matches, contests, exhibitions. Requires promoter licenses and match permits for professional and amateur events and sets the related bond and permit conditions. Legislative history as currently codified: Act 2009-622, p. 1872, §10; Act 2010-222, p. 392, §1; Act 2011-164, p. 297, §3; Act 2013-285, p. 961, §1; Act 2019-491, §1.
